What is megaETH?

MegaETH, developed by MegaLabs, is a next-generation blockchain platform focused on building a real-time blockchain with full Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility. Designed to process up to 100,000 transactions per second with sub-millisecond latency, MegaETH tackles the current limitations of EVM-based chains through a heterogeneous blockchain architecture and an optimized execution environment.
The project has secured $30 million in total funding, including a $20 million seed round led by Dragonfly and a $10 million community round. MegaETH is backed by some of the biggest names in the industry, including Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, ConsenSys founder Joseph Lubin, and EigenLayer founder Sreeram Kannan.
